Hi there! Long time no see :-). Our server is running the latest git HEAD (1.2.0-beta4), and we are unable to post URLs. The error I see on the logs is strange:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /srv/gnu-social/lib/httpclient.php on line 240
However, strangely enough, the only URL we can post is the link to our own website. Has anyone seen this? The file:line mentioned in the error message doesn't seem to be incorrect. Any help is appreciated (cc @lxoliva) !gnusocial !fediverse

it seems to be commit f198d5d110326ed8e658ad77bbe44aaa058dd867
brought in by merge 7dcb229ab33775b8a4ad1cdfc3e10ce1e49a6613
it was the only commit brought in in our latest update, and reverting it made the problem go away
it even makes sense, for the commit manipulates URLs in the post body
